What To Expect

If you are new to Bradley County or the surrounding areas or you are looking for a new church, we hope you will come and visit. We believe you will find us to be very friendly and welcoming. Here's what you will experience at Cloverleaf Baptist.
  • What is the Sunday morning schedule?

Sunday school begins at 10:00 a.m.. Upon arrival, people are greeted as they enter the church. Most people go directly to their Sunday school class. The greeters will assist you with classes. Sunday school usually ends around 10:45 a.m. People tend to use the restrooms and fellowship until service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.

  • What is the Sunday evening schedule?

People begin arriving for prayer room at about 5:45 p.m. Greeters will assist you if you would like to join us. If you prefer not to attend prayer room, feel free to go straight inside the sanctuary. There will be people there to welcome you. Service starts at 6:00 p.m.

  • What is the Wednesday evening schedule?

People begin congregating in the sanctuary fifteen or twenty minutes before service begins to fellowship one with another. Service begins at 7:00 p.m.

  • Nursery- What about my infant or toddler?

We have a nursery just before you go into the sanctuary. There is a speaker in there for you to be able to listen to service if you prefer. However, we believe that children of all ages should be in the sanctuary watching and listening so they know how to worship. We understand they are not going to set there and be quiet like adults. Know that we will not judge you, but assist you however we can.

  • What is a service like at Cloverleaf?

Our music is traditional or Southern gospel mainly. However, we occasionally have some contemporary songs as well. We love upbeat music and worship in the Spirit. We sing out of the red back Church Hymnal or the choir book majority of the time and welcome anyone to join us.

The preaching style varies each week depending on what the pastor receives from God. The sermons are meant to help in everyday life, as well as for eternity. Our pastor has a great way of explaining things so everyone can understand the word of God.

  • Where can I park?

We should have plenty of open parking. You can enter the building from every side with easy access to the sanctuary no matter where you enter. Most of our handicap parking is up front at the main entrance.

Let one of our greeters know if you need assistance in parking your vehicle.

  • Who goes to Cloverleaf?

Our congregation is made up of all demographics. We hope to have people of all ages from newborn babies all the way to people in their 90's. Our philosophy is "Come see the Lord is good." We welcome all visitors of all ages. The one thing we all have in common is a sense of fellowship one with another and love for our fellow man. Our church is very friendly. We think you will feel very welcome no matter what your background or economic status.

  • What should I wear?

The bible says to dress in modest apparel. That means you will see a few people wearing suits and ties, while other people are wearing blue jeans and polo’s. Some women will be wearing dresses or skirts, while others will be wearing slacks. Dress how you feel comfortable to worship. It is about the intent of the heart, not what one has or does not have.

Mission and Purpose

“Without a vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18

Cloverleaf Baptist Church is more than a facility; we are a group of believers that empowers and encourages other people to let their light shine so that individuals can see how God works on real, everyday people.

Our vision is to go out into the highways and hedges and compel people to come in so that they know true love.

What We Believe

The following are a synopsis of our beliefs.
  1. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction.
  2. There is one and only one living true God who exists as a triune Godhead made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  3. The first man, Adam, was perfect upon creation by God. Sin entered in when Adam and Eve partook of the fruit that was forbidden by God in the book of Genesis. Therefore, salvation is required to enter into Heaven (John 3:16)
  4. Salvation is extended when anyone realizes they are a sinner who is in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ the righteous. Once they realize this, they can call on His name and asked to be saved. (Romans 10:9-13 KJV)
  5. The Bible teaches there is a literal Heaven being prepared for the saints of God and a literal Hell for those that reject the Lord Jesus. (John 14:1-6, Matthew 25:31-34, Revelation 20:11-15, Luke 16:19-31)
  6. Baptism is extended to a person who has been saved. It is the literal submersion into water of the believer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  7. Communion is the partaking of the unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine. This is for the believer to remember the sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26
  8. The church is a congregation of baptized believers whose only scriptural officers are pastors and deacons who meets the qualification defined in book of Timothy and Titus.
  9. The first day of the week is the Lord’s Day; therefore, it is the day that the church sets aside time to worship.
  10. The local church is to support the gospel message and it is to be carried to the uttermost parts of the world. (Matthew 28:19-20)
  11. The Bible teaches the pre-tribulation, pre-millennial and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ. First is the “catching away” of the saints, then a seven year period of tribulation, the Second Coming of the Lord to rule and to reign the earth for the millennium (Matthew 24:44, John 14:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:51-57, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
  12. After death, judgement is appointed to mankind (Hebrews 9:27).
